This is what my 6A looks like after being in the paint shop for 6 weeks

I am told that I can expect it to be done sometime next week.

Who's doing your painting? Would I be too nosey in asking how much it's costing to get your plane painted. I'm looking at doing the same thing later this year.

CJ......Its more like I am going stir-crazy! I find myself just wandering around the house aimlessly. Talk about withdrawl! :bang:

I'm having it painted at Central Aviation in Watertown, WI. The estimate for a two base color with one trim color scheme was between $6-7,000.00.

Randy has a very good reputation, and I have seen some of his work which supports that. Trouble is, he is TOO good, so he is a bit swamped!

Jeff, just keep thinking how nice it is going to look when it comes home with its new clothes. You'll be enjoying it for years to come. Make sure and post some photos for us!
