Well, I already have a Bell tailwheel fork on order, and I'd probably spring for the control arm too!

Nice, I think I am going to get one of those canopy handles too.
Oddly enough, there isn't an exterior handle on the tip ups. I am putting it on for rescue purposes.
Hmmmm, this could be a costly order...

I have the Silver Bullet link as well as the Doug Bell fork for my 8.
They are both good quality products. I didn't opt for the handle or control arm though they both look very nice too!
That's a killer price for cap engraving... might have gone with them for mine had I remembered they do that too now.

I have the Bell tailwheel on my RV-4. I'm probably going to put the old one back on before I sell it and keep the Bell fork. It's that nice, in my opinion.

Hey, ya know... I have been calling this rivethead guy since Thursday.
No answer, no calls returned.
I am starting to think he is a loser.
There is no way I am just gonna send him my $200 caps when I can't even raise him on the phone!
Dunno...

UPDATE:
I just called him at 10:20 PM on a Saturday night! He answered the phone!
Looks like I am ordering everything he sells and he will be engraving the caps to boot!
I am ordering the canopy handle too, even though I am doing a tip up. The way I see it, one needs a rescue handle on the top of the canopy too.

John, haven't you learned... don't drink and dial. It always costs way too much!

CJ,
You ordered a handle you don't even need, I love it. And I thought I was bad. How about giving me a call. I expect that I have a lot of stuff you don't need that I can sell you

In case someone hasn't already asked, I sent an email today to check on the feasibility of a group buy.
CJ, I know you've already bought, but did you happen to mention this when you talked to him this weekend?

Paul, do you need Grove gear? I know that I am asking a loaded question, but the reason I ordered it is the same as for your gear.
Except, this is for safety. I think it is inexcusable to NOT have a rescue handle on the canopy accessible from the outside.
Chad, nope... I guess I was tired. I really WASN'T drinking!!! I just forgot to ask.

I got a response from Dave at Full Throttle Concepts (Rivetheadaero.com) this morning. Sounds like they are willing to give the group buy thing a go!!
Chad,
Thank you for your interest. Lately it has been extremely busy. In the next two weeks I will be working ahead to build inventory. If there is any interest for the group buy, I want to be able to fill the order promptly. Please check back then and we’ll see if we can put something together for you.
Thank You,
Dave Czachorowski

I'll keep in touch with him, but we need to get a head count going...
