Way to go Smitty!

Proseal is what holds the fuel in the tank!

Use it now or use it later!

Awesome job Smitty!... I'm catching up to you now, all that is left for me to do is drilling the gas caps to the skin and then I'm ready for proseal too (I'm doing both tanks at once).

Did you use the cork gasket around the cover plate? Also, did you use the rubber gasket under the fuel sender? I ask because I was working on those parts today.

Thanks,

dave

Hi Dave,

I used both rubber and cork gaskets and put proseal on both of them. I decided to use my fathers attitude of "If a little is good, a lot is better".

:good job:

Sureis a good feeling to be done with that part isn't it Smitty? I know when I got mine done it gave me a good sense of accomplishment when they tested leak free. Good job!

That's a great post/pic. I'll wager you were more exicted than I to see that the air has held up. I did manage to draw a smiley on my balloon, but that's my limit since there's no artistic brush in me.
