Best software for build log

Post by pequeajim »

What is the best software for logging your work building an aircraft? I have heard of KitLog Pro. Is this the best? I also want to be able to publish my progress to the web.

You might also consider WordPress. It's a blogging sight that allows for some pretty nice customization if you're into that, or it can just be a simple web log. Whatever you want. When you're done with your aircraft you can just print out the website.

It's not for everyone maybe but it's an option.

I use Kitlog Pro I know it isn't for everyone but I worl on computers all dayand don;t want to thin about it when I log my time. I do have at least three backups just in case. I backup everytime I add anything. Something eveyone should do, ask Bob Collins. (Sorry Bob)

You can post your entris to their website also if you want.

It $50 well spent for my purpose.

Kitlog is a great program too. I was a beta tester for it when he was first writing it. It's much better now that it was then. Especially with the web component.
