After a few months of working in the basement my "airplane factory" is finally finished and online. I hadnt touched the area since we built the house and moved in. Finally the boxes are gone and I have an area to start cutting metal and banging rivets !!
Spike!
It looks good. I envy you the amount of room. I'm busy trying to clear out two dirtbikes before I get going on the RV-8. I posted here on the RV-8 Section tonight, and then realized I should have posted my query in the general Construction Section. Oh well.
Cheers, Pete

You wanna draw, ....against the fastest rivet gun in the West??? LOL
Ive always dreamed about putting a nice workshop together. Now the RV has given me a reason. I can easily construct the tail and wings down here. What I havent figured out is how to get the fuse taken care of. Maybe Ill have to get a new home before then
Spike,
The shop looks nice. But where's the TV? Everyone laughs at my hangar (some mistakenly call it a 2 and a half car garage) because it has a TV with cable. But my favorite building times are when there is a sporting event in which I am interested going on in the background while I am working on the plane. To be honest, I hardly keep up with the game, but it is nice having it on in the background anyway.
I also have a window AC unit in the hangar. But hey, I live just outside New Orleans. It's a necessity!
No TV for me, if I had one I would never build anything. I opt out for a radio. I like using it as background noise and to keep me from feeling to, uh, alone. Kind of odd I guess. Not that I havent been called an odd ball before.
If this is his work site then I can't wait to see the end result of all the building. It should be good. Is that the nearly completed EMP. up on the top there I can see?
