Drawing 24A is messed up!

Post by cjensen »

Do any of your plans look like this?

Do you see what I'm talking about? Looks like things started to print in the area circled, and then the paper moved or something.

Anyone else have this problem?

I can still read them okay, but found it strange.

Chad, that's messed up. The copies of the Preview Plans I have here in the office are just fine, I'll check the real ones later. What's the date on that dwg?

Upon closer ispection of the prev plans and your pic, it looks like Van's made some revisions, but didn't tie up some loose ends before sending it to the printer.

Yeah, I printed out the portion of the .pdf drawing for reference. It's quite a bit different than what I have in large print. Not sure what revision I have, but I'll work around it.

Just wondered if anyone else out there has noticed this yet...

Lower right corner, along the top the drawing details. The copy I have (here) says R1 (revision 1)... does yours also list a R2?

On the version I have here at work, it's R1 drawn 8/31/2000. This drawing is correct. I'm curious to see what date I have at home now...

Yup there is a big problem with that sheet. The dead give away is the cabin air vent, it isn't even close to where it should be. Regardless of the revision it just didn't print right. Move on and keep building.

Hey how come I didn't get check marks on mine?

I checked, mine is messed up too.

$10 says if you were to call Van's about it, they would say they have never heard of such a thing.
