Nice pics Ian! You have a great looking Cherokee! My four window 140 was MUSTARD UGLY compared to yours!

Not to hijack the thread or anything...but here's a couple pics of me in my second Cherokee (180D)...

There is nothing like a Cherokee. They are so well mannered and do what you want...

I have flown all of them from the 140 to the 300 hp Cherokee Six and just love every minute!

I think the best four seater is the Cherokee D 180. It has huge useful load and just enough power and economy. Plus, I like the stubby little wings for taxiing past snowbanks and through tight grass fields.

The Arrow is nice, but there isn't much payoff in terms of speed for all the extra "stuff".

The Cherokee Six is just a pleasure to fly. It just flies itself! No doubt. it is the SUV of the fleet. The load carrying capabilities are UNREAL!

Nice planes, guys!

I absolutely adore my cherokee, it's a total sweetheart, and a phenomenal performer. It outruns all the 180hp 172s at the flight school where I tie down.

hopefully this year, I'm going to buy either a comanche 260 or a seminole. I'll hang on to the cherokee though, for cheap puttering around locally flying.

If I buy a twin, it'll be either for Dan and me to get our multi and MEI ratings really fast and then sell it, or get all our ratings then put it to work giving multi ratings.
