AAAAAAAHHHAAAAHHAAAAHAAAA! Stir crazy enough!?
I did work on it yesterday by starting to polish the firewall.
I got an email from Van's this morning saying that it is ready for pickup by Partain. WOOHOOO!!!
I plan to start with the canopy release mechanism, then the side latch, then the canopy frame. I won't do anything with the plexi until June or July when the temps are in the high 80's or 90's.
I will also get the engine mount powdercoated, and may fit it before starting plexi work...

Chad
when you do the opening mechanism, make sure you put your uhmw tape on there before fitting the angles to the side skin otherwise when you go to install it the thickness of the uhmw tape will cause the mech to bind...i ended up with two sets
because of this. i hear folks complain about this often.

william....don't let it beat you down, you are stronger than you think.
