I just replaced my original two fluted debur bit that has served me well but is just plain dull!
I got the Avery three fluted one as a replacement.
This thing seems to leave chatter marks around the hole no matter what technique I use to turn it. Hard, Fast, Slow, Light, in electric screwdriver, by hand with hand tool etc.
Anyone else use this bit and not have these problems? My original two flute did not exibit this problem.

I have one and have not had any problems with it. The thing I like the Avery one for is doing the countersinks for the little oops rivets I use for nut plates, three turns and it is done. The deburring tool I use most though is a bit made for countersinking wood screws that has about 6 edges. A little twirl with just the fingers and it is done.
I can't imagine wearing my deburring tool out.
Maybe you got a soft one, mine still looks like new.

I've tried several types, including the 3-blade. and The single-hole bit I got from Cleaveland Tools is the only way to go. It cuts a nice smooth bevel and leaves absolutely no chatter. Ever. And you can use it for oops rivets, or for the rear spar dimples on the wing, to clean them up a bit as the manual recomments. Here's the information on it:

Avery's is #1
Bob from Avery's has been very helpfull trying to help me on this issue. He has sent me another one to try but it does the same.
He has recommended that I take a stone to the edge and slightly break it and give that a try. I will try this and see how it works.
