Not trying to steer business away from Possum works... but Just thought I'd pass on a static port option that I did.
"vented" stainless cap screws are available from mcmaster carr, p/n 93235A245 having a .046 hole drilled thru,
all you need to do is to turn/grind the head to the preferred shape.
The 10-32 thread fits snug into SAE J844 Type A tubing (air brake tubing)
Just add some proseal or equiv.
I talk to Mark (PossumWorks) about once a week... He is a great guy, and has just finished building an RV-7. I know he has been as busy as a one-armed paper hanger lately but is about to announce a really cool item for side-by-side RV's.
I bought my static ports from him for $25 (including postage). If your time is worth less than that then go for it.
