shop upgrade

Post by weezbad »

went to radio shack for a null modem for the dynons and ended up buying a wireless router. now i have internet in the shop....   man i didnt know it was that simple. i feel almost emabarrased my mind would go straight to another bill when someone mentioned wirelss to me..man you can tell ive been building this bird for far too long. in the voice of napolean Dynamite "idiot" comes to mind. my nearest neighbor is 600 feet away . i hope that keeps him from using up my bandwidth. :x
this should either save me some time or slow me down :?

i should loose weight as well. cause every time i went in the house i got a snack.....

The best way to keep neighbors off of your network is to use a custom SSID and encrypt with WEP or WPA. I think all wireless routers allow you to set that up. It doesn't take but 10 minutes or so to setup.

Congrats on the upgrade.

Good upgrade!

It really is another tool!

I like to stream audio in and what not while I am tinkering.

Besides, I need a private place to view Chad's emails!

Chadley!

You have corrupted me!
