RV Builder's Hotline

Post by RVNewsletter »

I don't know how many of you who had in the past subscribed to e-mail delivery of the RV Builder's Hotline are actually getting them, but -- if not -- please check your spam folders. A lot of them are getting picked off.

The latest issue will be e-mailed out this evening and if you could let me know (offline) whether you got it, that'd be helpful. An advanced copy is available here.

I do have to apologize to those of you who navigate to it via Google. Google has cached the files on the Expercraft server and not so much on the Comcast server. I no longer have access to Excpercraft's server and Rob Riggen has -- so far -- decided not to provide a redirect from the old Hotline URLs to the newer server (or remove the redirect I had put on there that pointed folks to the site he used when he produced the Hotline for a few weeks). Nothing comes easy on Planet RV anymore.

For what it's worth I've been getting my issues. About 1/3 of them had their format mangled so I got a bunch of html code. The other 2/3 were just fine. Not being spammed by Yahoo or Google at any rate.

Ish. If you can send me those... I'd like to take a look at 'em.

As another data point mine have all been fine Bob. I'm using Outlook 2007 as my email client. Might be interesting to know what client those are using that are having issues.

Outlook 2006 at work, and raw server email elsewhere for me.

Around the time I posted this originally, I switched hosts and used the Dada program to mail out the Hotline. It worked fine, except a lot of folks weren't actually getting the Hotline. The last date that many people did was July 12.

If you're subscribed and you didn't get one last weekend, however, please check your junk folders.

Thanks
