Ouch! I doubt that guy had ever been exposed to any training about aircraft systems and sensors, something I would have thought would have to be a requirement to be allowed on the ramp in the first place.

I can see it now ... "Sorry Sir, you failed a security check, I was able to gain entry by jumping on your canopy."

I actually applied for a job with the TSA. Well, one of their contractors. I promise leave the airplanes alone.

Actually this is making me rethink whether I'd want to work with that crew or not.

I beg to differ. It's only a violation if the aircraft is unsecured AND AIRWORTHY. After his bungling attempts to gain entry, each aircraft was taken out of service for maintenance - so technically they were unairworthy by the time he gained entry and therefor not in violation.

I'd certainly fight it in court if I was American Eagle... :evil:
