Checkoway OK?

I just got my Kitplanes and it says Dan Checkoway asked out of his monthly column because he's got some "major life changes going on."

We've had our disagreements over the years, but I hope the lad is alright, nonetheless.

Hope him the best. I hate to speculate so....maybe he will let the RV world in on what is going on someday or maybe not.

I know he moved up here to NorCal a few months ago... perhaps it's related.

In addition, a few days ago he posted a few messages to the NorCal RV list.

Looks like he moved up there last summer. I don't know whether to read anything into the way he announced it or not, "My RV-7 and I are moving..."

BTW, he has put a pretty spiffy new Web site for formation fliers in that area. West Coast Ravens. Pretty nice.
