Wings done!

Post by Thermos »

Finally...after four years and three months of house moves, job changes, travel and everything else that makes life so busy, the wings are done!

Image

Big thanks to Captain John, Wicked Stick, Antony Parchment and Jon Ross (TC/DAR) for all their help. And above all, thanks to my wife Ellen for running a mean rivet gun, and for providing moral support and good advice when I needed it most.

Putting the "slow" in slow build,

Dave

Dave

Looks great! You will be SOOO happy to move onto the fuse. No more doing everything twice. BTW, is that some fuselage skins I see in the garage?

The victory beers were great, and the Saturday night victory margarita was even better...

Thanks for the encouraging words guys - and no, the fuse isn't gonna take four years!

Very nice looking Dave, it's a great feeling to put those things away in that state.

Sure is, Mike. I've had the fuse since April of this year - kinda underestimated how long it would take to finish the wings.

I've already started on the firewall and bulkheads...
