Happy Holidays

Post by Spike »

We had our first snow here this past weekend and it reminded me that this place needed some decorations...

Happy Holidays everyone!

Merry Christmas to all you Rivetbangers.

I really enjoy this easy going website. I've made a few friends and yet haven't met any of them. I hope to make it to one of the RB dinners and put faces to names.

Special shoutout to:
1. Spike and Patti for running the site
2. Brian C for the panel layout he did for me
3. Chad J the paint scheme work (no one deserves that torture)

Thanks everybody, we'll get this thing built yet

Happy Holiday's to all you goofy RBer's!! It is certainly a family affair, and I wish the best for everyone this Holiday season! Hopefully there will be more than a gathering or two of "local" RB groups this season. Take some pics, and enjoy the company!

Merry Christmas to All. We got our first snow fall over night, so the season is officially here now, really heavy wet stuff ... raining now, then expecting 4 to 8 inches in the next 2 days. Ho Ho Ho.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Post by BSwayze »

Happy Holiday greetings!

It's a great time for another mini-milestone. I finished riveting the seats together and got them installed. Last night, I threw some cushions in there, grabbed Jamie's hand and took her out to the shop. We sat in the airplane for the very first time and made some airplane noises.

We just had to crack a bottle of champagne. Here's a toast to all our friends on Rivetbangers!

Image

We sat there for quite a long time, talking and dreaming about flying off to places unknown. It's really comfortable. For the first time, I heard Jamie say things like "we need to just get this thing DONE. I'm ready to GO!" It's one of those moments where it's becoming more real to her than ever. She was asking me "when do you think it will fly? 2010? 2011?" I've never heard her talk this way.

Happy holidays everyone from a cold but bright and sunny London, England. I've decided this definitely be the last one spent working on the house rather than the RV........no really, this time I mean it!

Ah, don't ya love it when the chores get in the way. Though I must admit I enjoy working on the RV more when there are no chores waiting on the other side of the building.
