Christmas Loot!

Post by Brantel »

My wife was awesome as usual and purchased this baby for me this year for Christmas:

This thing is way cool!

I actually found a frame to fit it in Knoxville today for a reasonable price. Store was named Michael's.

I was also blessed this year with assistance on my final avionics package order that I received a few weeks ago.

What did you all score with ???

Nice. Those are cool looking prints.

We don't really do Christmas gifts for the adults. Grandkids are a different story and get spoiled plenty.

But Tis the season and have had quite wonderful holiday month.

12/10 was our 30yr anniversary.
12/17 Son home from Afghanistan.
12/18 New engine picked up.
12/22 Engine install.
12/25 We got together with all 3 of our kids and grandkids for 18# Prime Rib Christmas dinner followed by a board game and 4 kinds of Pie.

We are healthy, safe and employed. Blessed to be here.

Awesome Brian's!

Brantel...what number is your print? Looks like 12? I have #14, and it's not here yet...should be any day! Can't wait!

As far as Christmas loot...for my airplane habit, I got a pair of AveoAir eyeball vents and some Snap On tools.

Hope everyone had a super safe and happy Christmas!!

No xmas RV loot for me this year. Seems I have everything I need for the project.

Brian- that print turned out excellent! I am expecting my copy soon. Good to know Michael's has a suitable frame for the print. I was afraid of what a professional frame would of cost! Framing is the only thing out there that I'd say is more expensive than airplanes!

Hope to see at least 3 RV-7 first flights from RB members in '10!!!!! 8)

How is that even possible? :wtf: I've got 130 hours on my RV and I still don't have everything I "need".

Mike,

They have them 40% off right now... This frame was $42 which I thought was a steal!!! Amen to custom framing costing more than airplanes!

Hey Brian-

Do you know what the size of the frame is? I don't have my print yet, but wouldn't mind saving 40%! I appreciate it!

24" x 36" Is what I purchased....It has a super finish on it, the frame looks like real wood, has a good glass and has the nice clips holding the back cover on....
