Speed mods or just better efficiency?

Post by hydroguy2 »

So as I fiddle with the cowl/plenum, I am looking at the inlet and outlet ratios. 33.6sq.in inlet, 37sq.in. outlet. ratio 1 to 1.1. Not bad but not ideal either. Also the square sided outlet is less then perfect as flow comes around the corners.

What do you guys think?

Well, you can't measure the true benefit of the tweak until you have data as a basis for comparison. Get it flying, get good data, then work the efficiencies.
