Well, I'm sold on the VP system. A good friend of mine just installed one in his RV-7, and I followed his progress. Check it out in detail before making any decisions, one way or the other. You might like what you see.

Got my panel labels made up and had to toss it together for a peek. I color coded the buss's. Yellow is everything off the Master. Red is off the Battery/Essential Buss.

That was the goal, oh yeah and cheap too. Kind of a old school meets glass. Night legal, VFR and all under $7500, what's not to like!

ANd here is last night. Still have all the terminations Forward of the firewall and at most of the components, but at least the panel area is getting cleaned up.

Except I'm a mechanic! And this many wires seems more like brain surgery. :? I planned a simple panel and yet I have 150-200 wires to figure out where they belong and how it all ties together. Lots of time spent on the bench tagging stuff.

1 wire at a time seems to be working. Hope to power it up next tuesday......any recommendation on a good fire extinguisher :o

please excuse my photography skills, I dropped my camera and the LCD screen broken, so I just kind of point it in the general direction and click. The wife said no taking hers to the shop. :dunno:

About ready to rivet the forward skin on and move back to the baffling and cowl. Talked with my painter friend about renting his booth in May, fingers crossed.
