Cheap LED panel lighting

I just got done installing my LED panel lighting last night, and I gotta say, that for $15 shipped (for two strips, actually) eBay lights, they are quite nice!

I used the 1.5A dimmer switch from Van's ($24+shipping), which works great.

So for $45 for a switch and lights, it's a great, economic alternative to the (ahem!) overpriced light strips from the big houses...

Do not get suckered like I did into buying the same lights for about 5 times this price!!!!

One thing I have to give you Chad is major points for being thrifty and resourcing things. I would have never thought of using a boat compass, etc. I would say you are the model of a true home builder.

Nice Chad, I am just waiting for your first flight. Its going to be a great day for you, but a sad day for me... Perhaps its because I've been following your project for the last 2 years and I wont have anything to look at anymore!
