Bittersweet news

Post by JohnR »

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. I got an email today from the two brothers that bought my RV7-A kit. She's flying and all looks good. Had a few minor squawks but nothing major.

I'm sure glad someone got the kit that finished finished her up and got her flying. I don't know a lot of details but thought I would share the photos.

They changed to an updraft induction because they wanted to run the Vetterman Exhaust system. Report is it flies very well and may come to visit me sometime. Like I say, bittersweet. Glad to see her flying. :) Sad she is in someone else's hanger. :(

On another note, as some of you are aware we are building a new home and it is almost done. I fully expect some RBer's to come visiting next summer. We are about 10 miles from KFBW which just opened this summer.

Thats classy. I love white aircraft. It just feels right. Ill be out there when our chariot is flying dude. I am intending to take some type of tour. I have always had a dream of landing our RV at Sedona AZ. I also have a spot or two in OH to visit. Swinging by Iowa only makes sense!

Good to hear from you friend!

Hi John!

Good to see your voice!

The project looks great!

We might have to stop by and see you again on the way to Sturgis again next summer!
