The best RV Pic yet!

Post by bullojm1 »

I was waiting for a friend to show up at the Fallston, MD airport to deliver a camping stove to him. While waiting I happen to see this perspective of the RV while watching the sun lower in the west. It is definitely my most favorite shot of the RV so far.

My favorite...

I'm not sure who owns this RV or who took the photo (I googled RV-8 pics) but this is the photo that kicked me in the butt and finalized my decision to build an RV. The blue and white paint job is sharp! I also like how the cowl does not have the scoop on the bottom (I think that means it's fuel injected?)

I've wanted an RV for a while and I've flown in my buddy's 200 hp RV-8 with constant speed prop and it was awesome! I just bought the Avery RV tool kit and as soon as I get my garage converted to a RV factory, I will order the tail kit.

Ask the UK government since the image is hosted on their official website.

Brian, given the weather this week looks like that photo could have been taken yesterday.

Does an unfinished RV count? I want to have some fun, too!

I can't wait to join you all with a flying RV, but this is definitely my favorite pic so far. Taken out in the driveway last summer. This was such a great feeling, after several years of work, to finally put big pieces of the airplane together.
