I have been searching the web for an RV-7A side view template to use to design paint schemes. There are no useable ones out there. There are some templates available but they are .gif files which are difficult to color and design without special software.
I have made a template that you can download for free and use in MS Paint. Everyone with a PC has MS Paint and it's a no-brainer to use!

Yes yours was one of the very few I found, however, the ones posted on your website are .gif files which are not ready to use with MS Paint.
The white pixels in a .gif are not all white so colors can't be filled in easily. Basically all I did was take a .gif, and retrace the outline and then made all the pixels white. That's actually easier said than done!
But now with a .bmp file, it's ready to use and very easy to color in MS Paint which is probably the easiest and most common 'coloring' program.
