Visited my engine today!

Post by captain_john »

I flew down to 21N to look at my engine at Mattituck with Bill H. in his RV-6.

Vlad flew in from Princeton, NJ to meet us. Good to see you today Vladimir!

I needed to deliver my G3i electronic ignition module and explain it's operation.

Here is a pic of the engine:

When Mahlon comes back from vacation we will fire up the whole works in their test cell. Should be fun!

After talking with the guys at Mattituck, we flew to Block Island for breakfast and then back home.

Truth be told, I got LOTS of flying in today because when I got 30 minutes out of my home field I realized that I left the electronics in my Jeep! Did a quick 180 and got them. Could have been worse. Could have been in the flare at Mattituck when I realized it! hahaha

Above is the test cell where the engines are all proven.

Can't wait!!!

This is the test cell. I am not sure but I think they have done this sort of thing before...

I don't know whose engine this is. It will probably go into some spam can trainer or something. It looks awful boring!

Well, we need to run it in the test cell yet.

We will run it soon and I should have pics of it hung in February!

Looking forward to it!
