Yah, You know where this goes, right?

Now lets look a bit closer...

Drill bushing gets removed in order to open it up to full size!

I cannot take credit for this contraption. It is on loan to me from Bill H. (a.k.a. The Wizard)!

This is the most famous Bill who lets me fly his plane. Hi is FULL of tricks like this!

Whatcha think? Pretty cool, huh?

Chad, was thinking that too! I wonder how many people would buy one for only two holes? ...granted, they are two fairly important holes! Arguably the most important holes in the build!

Well, after much lamenting... They are both drilled!

Soooooo happy to have this behind me now.

Onto the flaps and ailerons now.

Here we go!

I'm getting ready to mount my wings. Just need to take a block of aluminum and drill a nice set of straight holes on the drill press for guide blocks. These look nice, but a single scrap block of hardwood or aluminun with 2 offset holes (one small and one full size) should suffice.

That's really nice, CJ!

When I drilled mine, I used a scrap piece of aluminum with a hole drilled with the drill press, as Bruce suggested, for a drill bushing. The thicker, the better. I have a couple more hints, if anyone is interested.

Before drilling, I drew a box with a sharpie, to make sure edge distance was observed in all 4 directions.

Then I pre-drilled a shallow starter hole right in the middle of the box, just part way through the first piece. This helped insure getting the hole in the right place before final drilling. The drill bit is guided right into the starter hole you made, because with the drill bushing in place you can't see it. Then clamp it down and finish drilling the hole.

I had to look at mine for about a week and have a couple of drinks before I actually drilled that metal!
