When I drilled mine, I used a scrap piece of aluminum with a hole drilled with the drill press, as Bruce suggested, for a drill bushing. The thicker, the better. I have a couple more hints, if anyone is interested.
Before drilling, I drew a box with a sharpie, to make sure edge distance was observed in all 4 directions.
Then I pre-drilled a shallow starter hole right in the middle of the box, just part way through the first piece. This helped insure getting the hole in the right place before final drilling. The drill bit is guided right into the starter hole you made, because with the drill bushing in place you can't see it. Then clamp it down and finish drilling the hole.
