Over the past couple of years of maintaining my RV, one item that I always get ticked off about is stripping the phillips head screws used all over the RV. During this annual, I have decided to replace all of the phillips head screws with Torx / 6-lobe socketed screws in order to make life easier.
I found a great price on pan-head 6-32 and 8-32 stainless steel screws via Ebay from http://www.albanycountyfasteners.com/. $6 for (100) 6-32 1/2" pan head screws and $10 for (100) 8-32 1/2" screws -- shipped free. I could only find one supplier for 100 degree countersunk torx screws - http://www.microfasteners.com/. Micro Fasteners also sells pan head 6-32 and 8-32 screws, but slightly more expensive.
Both companies have been great to deal with and have very fast shipping. This is something you should consider if you are in the middle of building now. After installing just 4 of them recently, I am already impressed with them and kicking myself for not doing it sooner. No more "Thunk Thunk Thunk" when I remove screws!

Before I put the first Torx screw in I put a driver in my toolbag. As a sidenote, it is possible to get Torx out with the right sized straight screwdriver!

MicroFasteners calls them "6-lobe" screws. Apparently the name Torx is property of a company and they like to legally come after people using their name.

MicroFasteners didn't have 6-32 pan head screws listed on their site, so that's why I found Albany County Fasteners (and I saved a few bucks!).
