anybody in the 209 looking for help banging rivets?

Post by SonoraMike »

In an effort to build good karma I'm interested in offering a warm body for riveting assistance, I'd like to see what its all about before I decide to take on a possible project myself. I'm in Sonora in area code 209. Ping me if you are in the area and would like some help, and if'n you are building a 7 then so much the better

Hey Mike,

Have you checked out the Vans White Pages? There are 3 people listed as building in Tracy and Turlock under the 209 area code.

CJ,

Spent some time in your neck of the woods many years ago, did a technical class out in Acton in the dead of winter. All those "its colder than a <fill in the blank>" statements began to make sense to me at that point

Mike,
Come on down to Oakdale. Our EAA chapter has club meetings the 2nd Saturday of every month. There are several RV's being built down here. I'm sure someone wouldn't mind help. Now, if you want to help with fiber glass I can put you to work. Most of my rivet banging is done. Ask for Scott. We'll see if we can't get you hooked up.

I'd be open to some glass work, its been awhile since I've repaired bike fairings and the like. I've got the oakdale meeting on my calendar but I think I'm fishing that weekend... I'll keep you posted, thanks for the reply
