Frankfort KY, Capitol City

Saturday morning, good weather, looking at the map of the local area I found Frankfort KY airport to be close to the downtown and the State Capitol with a candy shop nearby. the wife was interested so we took off because she gets her daily steps and gets to eat candy. we walked from the airport to the Capitol and then to the candy shop and restaurant for lunch. a quick trip but very nice. Rebecca Ruth Bourbon Ball chocolate is very good. Total round trip walking = 6 miles. If you are broken down and fat you may want to consider the courtesy car.

two kale salads, steak and eggs, waffle for the wife, total bill = $46.

I demonstrated the rotating nose wheel chock to my wife. she was mildly impressed.

I was going to fly around the West side of Cincy but iFly "real plan" optimizer said to fly around the east side and save a couple minutes, and it kept me out of the approach path at Lunken airport. very safe route.

Cincinnati is a great place to live and fly.
