October Report
What a season its been so far! Hot days and low water made for a slow start, but we are happy to say those tides are FINALLY turning.
Our guides have been reporting more and more Salmon swimming upstream daily. Both Salmon and Trout have been fishing really well the past week or so. The slow trickle of fish is expected to extend the Salmon season well into the end of October.
A longer season means more time to get out on the water. If you have not had a change to get out there, now is the time! We have a lot of guide and lodging availability after the 15th of October. Call the shop to grab a spot!
For flies, we are still recommending egg flies, stones, and egg-sucking leeches. Larger (size 6-4) eggs for Salmon and smaller (sz 10-14) for Trout.
Thank you to everyone who has fished with us, stayed at the lodge or stopped in the shop this season! Your support is what keeps us going, doing what we love to do. Getting to share that with all of you is the best part!
