John, I just checked out the website. Are you going to have enough people to make this work? It looks like they need another 15 people before they will commit to doing it.

CJ,

Signed up this morning, but the number registered before and after I did was three. Don't know how long it takes for my registration to show, but wanted to let you know there were more than the number stated.

Take care,

Jim

Jim,

The number is manually changed by Bob when he updates the site.

I am sure there will be many more by week's end!

Cool, Ron!

Talk to Paula at the Comfort Inn. We are hammering out a deal for $125 per night. I am sure extra nights won't be a problem!

I will organize a few get togethers!

See you soon!

Yo Spike!

I didn't mean to diss you like that, dog!

:) The kids are rubbing off on me. White kids from the Cape talk like black kids from Brooklyn! Pretty funny, really.

Anywhooo, I ain't scared about the minimums. It think we will make the numbers.

...and if we don't I will still put on the RV shindig as a plan BRAVO!

Let's count on the numbers coming together and the whole thing going as planned!

Nuckolls wiring seminar in KPYM

Post by Spike »

No problem buddy ;) I will most likely skip the seminar and fly in on Sunday morning to hang out a bit in the afternoon and then fly home. At this point that makes the most financial and scheduling sense for me. Hopefully I can scam Poeboy in coming along so I don't have to fly both 3 hour legs myself. ....

Wanna come David ? :D

Count me in too! I just signed in on Bob's site.

I'm really looking forward to this thing, thanks for putting it together C_John. This should help get a light  or two   onto my plane.

Glad to hear it, Harold!

It was good to see you this past weekend. Sorry I didn't have a chance to say goodbye before I left.

See you soon!

You betcha, that was some fun seeing all the R-V-Airplanes this weekend! (But it was wicked hot and humid.) I sure wish I had remembered to bring my camera. :bang:

Did you find some tape or come up with another solution to the heater problem in the Citabria?

The front seat in the Citrabria was SCORCHIN' HOT!

I think some insulation would go a long way. The heater is closed, but it seems to eminate right through the firewall! Dave (Wicked Stick) was OK in the Bravo saddle, though.

Spike, didja get my email?

I would like to post some pics of the weekend and include them with it!

They came out pretty good, I think!

A modest proposal (again)...

Post by Thermos »

(This is a duplicate post from another thread in this forum. Sorry Spike, I wanted to make sure everyone saw it - D)

Since we're getting closer to the go/nogo date for Bob Nuckolls' seminar, here's a thought for those of you who are already registered.

If we get to Bob's 20 Jul registration deadline and don't have enough bodies to guarantee his travel, how many of you would be willing to chip in a few extra bucks to make sure this seminar happens? If we have no more than the 15 folks currently registered, that means an extra $30 from each of us to bring Bob to Plymouth.

There has only been one other seminar in New England in the last couple of years (Groton, CT), and the only other scheduled seminar east of Illinois is in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in November. I'm certainly willing to pony up some extra bucks to have this seminar happen in a more convenient location.

Of course, this will only work if everyone decides to chip in...

What say you? :headscratch:
