Post by cjensen »

well, i finally had my tech advisor over this morning! he's been sick, and with the holidays upon us, we just couldn't get together until now. he came over, gave all the completed parts a good looksey, and signed the EAA form saying "Very good work" :good job: here's a couple of pics-

XLNT! But was there ever a moment of doubt in your mind that it would be different?

ha! never! i know i'm that good! actually, i do feel like i've done a pretty good job, but it's nice to have the confidence of an experienced builder and counselor to approve. i'm a pretty confident person, but there are always doubts.

on a side note, right after the tech visit, i got a call that our new Diamond Star with the G1000 in it was ready to pick up! so, i dropped everything and went to the airport to head to Greencastle, IN to get it. What a sweet ride!! i got to fly two approaches in it, and those big 'ol screens make you feel like you're cheating! pretty 8) !

back to reality, 'cuz i'll never be able to afford to rent it ($135/hr)...i'll only get to fly it on company business every so often. i'm gonna start saving now to take it to OSH this year!
