Heard a few horror stories about bend the complex tubes for the HP fuel pump. Also I don't own a good flaring tool, so was thinking of ordering Bonaco lines all around. Money is tight, so figured I better at least see what all the fuss was about. Borrowed a nice RotoFlare tool and bender from my friend Marlin. While at his place I checked out his plumbing job, he said "never again" as it took him 13hrs and many many feet of wasted tubing.
Once home, I dove head first into the challenge. Used 1/4 poly to approximate the bends and tube lengths. On the first double bend, I made the smoothest, nicest looking piece.....which came up 3/8" too short....Aaargh. But then I whipped out 3 tubes that amazingly fit and looked good too. Flares all came out good & didn't forget any flare nuts either.
2hrs later I have this to show for my effort. and only wasted 10" of tubing.
